Tithing

The Universe provides all I need.  I just need to be aware, wide awake and know that God does provide.  And it is my job to keep what is provided to me in circulation.  I cannot just accept the gifts the Universe hands me.  I must pass it on.  And I must love to give.  I have learned the gift of tithing and have seen the rewards.  Giving is a grace that adds to spiritual growth.   

There are 3 principles to giving

First there must be a willing mind (HEAD). . . . ‘God loveth a cheerful giver’ 

Secondly, the giving must be done in faith (HEART)

Third is the 10 Percent, and this requires the 2^nd principle, Faith.  Not a little, not some, complete Faith. 

And for most of us, this is the scariest part of belonging to a church or having real faith.  That darn 10 percent.  There is a lot of fear around giving away money.  Most of us are on a tight budget.  It takes time and practice to make it to the 10 percent.  So… I urge you to keep on practicing!!

The act of giving complies with the divine law, because it involves the recognition of God as the giver of all, and all increase.

There is a psychological reason why I should obey spiritual law. When I obey the law of the Universe along any line, my faith immediately becomes strengthened, and in proportion my doubts disappear. A little more Faith?

When I put God first in my finances, not only in thought but in every act, and by releasing my 10 percent back to God, faith in the omnipresent supply becomes a hundredfold stronger and I prosper accordingly.
